09.05.11 When I knew I was in the envirokids team I was so excited because I love gardening and helping the enviroment . The thing I was excited about was the worm farms and building it.
16.05.11 Hayley, Paris and I are going to be in charge of the herb garden , so far we have learnt that they like the sun but not to muchwater .There are herbs for every single letter of the alphabet(even Z) . We will be making a video showing how to pick them for cooking so you don't pull the whole plant out , and other handy tips .
23.05.11 Hayley , Montrose,Manuel,Josh and I made one of the garden boxes in the hall.it waa fun putting them together.We were the first group to finish

13.06,11 Today we painted the boxes but I was away last week so I had to paint everyones hands to put on one of the boxes.I even paintedMrs Ratana's hand :) first I had yellow then this brown colour but i went and got a dark green which looked a LOT better than brown.
20.06.11 For the first 15 minutes I was away but we just did something about compost.Then I got like 10 minutes to go on my wiki. 27.06.11 Today we had a meeting then Hayley and I made the notice board .It was fun .We even went like ten minutes throught lunch time. 04.07.11 Today the envirokids team went on the Hakanoa lake walk ,people bought there cameras and took pics of the gardens and we picked up the rubbish on the way . I was walking with Hayley and Paris.My mum came and she was mostly talking and walking with Kirstens mum.
11.07.11 Today we had a meeting in the libary ,we wrote stuff in our books about the hakanoa lake walk we went on last week.We alsobrainstormed what fruit and veges we can plant in our garden boxes.We were also told that the garden is moved to the grass area inthe pool area.
1.08.11 Today Joel bought the seeds his mum ordered from kings seeds,there was alot,we then went with a partner or a group of three and wrote down on a pieces of paper ideas about what we could do if we won the native tree makeover thing .Mrs Roberts then chose Paris and I to take pictures of the top bank for the picture thing we are doing to win the native tree makeover. away for two weeks 31.10.11 today we went out to the gardens around the school and went weeding
